QUADRICOLOR

Uccle, 2025

This is a design demonstrated the purity of simplicity.  It adorns the vacant space between the kitchen and the entrance hall of this manor house and takes the shape of an inverted ‘L’.  We chose primary colours with a hint of selenium yellow.  The light between these two rooms changes throughout the day and the varied hues bring character to this unusual space.  The glass pains comprise large sheets of hand-blown glass from Saint Just in France and Lamberts of Germany.  The delicious colours are good enough to eat!
