Biographies
After working for two years at the Majérus stained glass Foundation, in close collaboration with Marcelle Majérus Nizet. We had the opportunity to hone our skills in filmmaking techniques and management.
FRANÇOIS-ODON
François-Odon is a multidisciplinary artist (painting, sculpture, poetry), enriched by a long family history and professional training in art and stained glass.
He wants to look to the future without detaching himself from the past.
Light, air, and matter fascinate him, and he tries to “make the most of every opportunity.” The physical dimension of work is essential to him. Her approach is both spiritual and sensual.
François-Odon participated in several exhibitions in Canada and France before dedicating himself to stained glass after an apprenticeship in France and Belgium. He diverse practices and interests powerfully and subtly nourish his pictorial world.
AMÉLIE
Is a visual artist working in the performing arts, for her, creating is telling stories. It is in interdisciplinarity that she finds the right way to express herself.These various disciplines have led him to exhibit in France and Belgium, and to work in all corners of Europe. For over 10 years now, Latin America, and more specifically Chile, has been a part of his life. This rich cultural heritage, steeped in history and art, permeates him and infuses his practice.
A few years ago, François-Odon introduced her to the art of glass and stained glass. Uniting this ancestral art with her favorite themes of history and memory fuels her artistic aspirations and gives her strength.
