DEPUIS LES NUAGES

This commission is at  the recently renovated home of this warm and friendly couple.  We were to replace existing stained glass in the doors of their entrance hall.   The interior is airy and uncluttered with plenty of wooden features, all punctuated by the lively canvases of French artist, Jean Remingler.  

The design incorporates two individual ‘Trencadis’ inspired central patterns in shades of Capri blue, pure white, pinkish white and a touch of scarlet red.  There is also light amber, felstone, Pyrite green, yew and emerald green.  We needed texture around these two rectangles and thi was achieved with the use ‘Water glass’.
