Le Pantin Abstract

Everyone knows the iconic Le Pantin bar in Flagey!  The unique character of this place is the result of 40 years of effort by the Miller family. Creating this stained-glass window was a real pleasure!  We drew inspiration from the quirky soul of the place, while also blending the personalities of the Harlequin and the Marionette.  Our use of colour, light, and shades of grey undulate to evoke them.  We favoured antiques blown glass in shades of sea green, green earth, bright red and Turner yellow. For transparency we selected Water Glass with antique  ‘water drop’ glass for the finishing touch.
