Porte enchantée

One day, two men brought us four panels on a “stretcher”.

While renovating a townhouse, they discovered this treasure hidden between two partitions, buried there for decades.

“Can you do something?”
“YES!!”

Our philosophy is to preserve as many original elements as possible. Many types of glass are no longer produced today. For example, there was a magnificent Turkish blue glass that no longer exists. Our mission was to save everything that could still be salvaged.

This pointed arch “door” did not originally exist. We harmonised the old stained glass with the newly desired shape.

This is the essence of renovation: reshaping the past while respecting the spirit of the stained glass and adapting it to your wishes.
